Job Description
We are seeking a Banking Business Analyst with strong experience in U.S. banking operations, digital banking products, and regulatory frameworks. This role will work closely with business, compliance, and technology teams to deliver enhancements across core banking, lending, payments, and customer experience systems.
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements for U.S. banking products (Checking, Savings, ACH, Wire, Credit/Debit Cards, Lending, Treasury).
- Analyze current processes and design future-state workflows using BPMN or similar frameworks.
- Develop BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, and UAT plans.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, product managers, risk, and compliance teams.
- Support implementation of core banking upgrades, digital banking enhancements, and third-party integrations.
- Work with U.S. payment rails (ACH, Fedwire, RTP) and evaluate impacts on systems and workflows.
- Lead UAT cycles: create test cases, validate functionality, log defects, and ensure smooth rollout.
- Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure alignment with U.S. regulations including:
- FFIEC
- FDIC
- OCC
- BSA/AML
- KYC/CIP
- Regulation E / Z / CC
- Assist with data mapping, reporting requirements, and operational readiness.
- Provide ongoing support for enhancements, system releases, and process improvements.
