Couchbase DBA

We are seeking a skilled Couchbase DBA to manage, monitor, and optimize our Couchbase NoSQL database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Couchbase Server in production environments, ensuring database performance, availability, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and upgrade Couchbase Server clusters.
• Monitor system performance and proactively optimize queries, indexes, and storage.
• Design, implement, and manage data replication, cross datacenter replication (XDCR), and high availability.
• Plan and execute cluster scaling, failover strategies, and disaster recovery.
• Set up and maintain backup and restore processes using Couchbase tools or third-party solutions.
• Collaborate with application developers and DevOps engineers to optimize data models and integration pipelines.
• Automate routine database tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Analyze logs and metrics to troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC), auditing, and other security measures.
• Document database configurations, topologies, procedures, and best practices.
