Job Description
The selected candidate will be assigned to the Office of Information Technology to support business transformation initiatives through comprehensive documentation, analysis, and improvement of critical financial business processes. This role combines technical expertise with business process optimization to deliver robust, scalable solutions for complex financial systems.
Education Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Equivalent professional experience may substitute for degree requirements
Technical Experience Requirements
• 7+ years as a lead developer or development manager
• 5+ years hands-on experience with:
- COBOL, CA Gen, Classic ASP
- DB2 for z/OS or Oracle databases (or similar RDBMS)
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Development
• Serve as SME for financial systems applications, ensuring implementation of scalable solutions
• Provide code quality oversight throughout SDLC (integration → staging → production)
• Mentor team members and provide hands-on technical support
• Drive continuous improvement through process standardization and methodology development
