Senior Node.js Architect

We seek an experienced Node.js Architect to design and implement high-performance, serverless REST APIs using Node.js/TypeScript on AWS. You'll lead architectural decisions, optimize cloud-native solutions (Lambda/API Gateway), and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities

API Development & Serverless Architecture

• Architect and build secure, scalable RESTful APIs with Node.js/TypeScript
• Implement serverless patterns (AWS Lambda, API Gateway) for cost efficiency and resilience
• Optimize API performance and enforce security best practices

Technical Leadership

• Drive high-level design decisions aligned with business objectives
• Conduct code reviews and establish development standards
• Improve cloud deployment pipelines and observability (CloudWatch, etc.)

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Partner with frontend, Salesforce, and DevOps teams on end-to-end solutions
• Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed AWS environments
• Represent backend in Agile ceremonies and roadmap planning
